Gemma & James met on a night out in their local town and in their own words ‘we couldn’t believe our paths hadn’t crossed before as we ran in the same circles.’  They are both quite a laid back couple ( Gemma more than James apparently) and have been together for over 6 years. Three different houses, a dog and a duck ( yup!)  later – it was naturally the next step for them to get married.  And they did, and they did it in style at Guardswell Farm! Guardswell farm  is a relatively new wedding venue, a converted barn with a Scandinavian twist, some white walls, rustic wooden tables with modern metal chairs, sheepskin fur and rusty light fittings.  All that beauty and incredible style teamed along  some of the spectacular Perthshire countryside views is a definite recipe for success. G & J  wanted people to be as relaxed as possible and to achieve a  ‘kick your shoes off’ and a ‘sit back with a drink’ wedding vibe.   As James is a talented professional gardener, for the table set up and some of the wedding decorations they  had a natural look achieved with handpicked, beautiful wildflowers.  It was great to see that Gemma & James hired mainly local wedding suppliers – and needless to say and absolute delight for me to meet so many familiar faces and local wedding industry pals.

This wedding was nothing else but simply awesome, and I feel so privileged to have been part of it and to have met such a lovely bunch of people! Gemma & James – you simply rock, and I’m wishing you a lifetime of joy and happiness!

Huge thanks to Lauren Stirling for being my 2nd shooter and awesome sidekick on the day.
