KATHLEEN & CHRIS
Elegant, fun, city, diy inspired wedding; celebrated at The Tall Ship, Glasgow
Kathleen & Chris first met at a comedy club in Glasgow. She absolutely loved his thirst for knowledge, if he didn’t know something, he’d quickly become an expert on the subject! In Kathleen’s own words:’ I enjoy hearing facts, so I love that I’m getting to marry my own personal encyclopaedia, as well as someone tall enough to reach the top of the shelves in supermarkets!’.
Kathleen always liked the idea of having her wedding at The Tall Ship, and it seemed the perfect choice for their wedding reception as it just so happens that Chris works at sea. Kathleen and Chris have always loved Glasgow, so they tried to keep things local and with a beautiful church ceremony – fairly traditional.
Kathleen & Chris’s wedding was full of small DIY wedding touches- little things you can see here and there, and also not to forget about the stunning bridal and bridesmaid bouquets put together by Kathleen on the night before.
Gotta love a super creative bride!
Kathleen’s beautiful smile and Chris’s relaxed attitude (and great wedding speech!) made everyone feel at ease during the day and the guests had so much fun being transported to the Tall ship via boat sailings over the Clyde! Including myself! It’s not every day that you get to jump on a boat ( boats in this case!) to celebrate a wedding! Right?
K & C’s main aim for their wedding day and vibe was to represent them as a couple as much as possible, with their love of food, travel, history, Glasgow city and an easy going attitude towards life.
And they sure did achieve all that brilliantly!
