Sarah & Aaron met at Sarah’s work who was at the time working in a Deli shop. Aaron would come in every single day for his lunch, eventually leaving his phone for Sarah on her day off! This was 7 years ago and since then needless to say that a lot has changed! Sarah & Aaron moved in together just a year later, had Sophia (their lovely daughter) and just another year later – their son Marlon was born!  They also have a very fluffy, and as Sarah would describe him – ‘very lazy dog’ named Olly, who according to her was really their first baby.

It took Sarah & Aaron awhile to decide on what kind of wedding they would like to have. At first Aaron was keen for them to go away by themselves and elope, but Sarah was a bit worried that they would really regret not having family and very close friends with them. So they met in the middle and decided to get married in Orroland Lodge – an elegant Victorian lodge situated only a stone throw from the sea with some really spectacular West Coast views!  And boy! The venue did not disappoint!

The weather was gorgeously sunny and warm, and this allowed Sarah and Aaron to have a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Afterwards guests were sunbathing and enjoying a drink, with grass games for the kids who played all day in the gardens full of wildlife. A super relaxed wedding vibe topped up with tasty nibbles and I must mention here, Aaron’s mum Gerry did particularly well making  homemade cocktails!

You will find nothing too formal or too traditional here– no wedding speeches, no stiff posing. Everything about this celebration of love was beautiful and with so many quirky DIY bits and pieces to make the place look pretty.  Sarah and Aaron’s casual attitude, and fun and lovely personalities shone throughout the whole day and I think it’s very easy for me to say – I truly enjoyed myself capturing their special day and getting a wee bit suntanned in the process!

Once again – thank you Sarah & Aaron for taking me to such a lovely part of the world.

I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness!
