Keira & Ross met just two and a half years ago … and haven’t hung about! They first chatted online, then met for a drink and decided that they really enjoyed each others company. Ross moved in with Keira only 6 months after they met, proposed a few months later and shortly after that  they welcomed their son!

‘ We have for the most part, similar outlooks in life’.

Keira & Ross both share a love for being active and it was evident to them from the very beginning that they were both family people. Ross tells Keira that he fell in love with her eyes and the way she cares about family and friends. Keira fell in love with his honesty and kindness. Both of them find enjoyment in making others happy and are quite a sociable couple.  Ross was an open book and it took Keira a while to reciprocate – but at the end,  Keira says,   he melted her ‘ice queen’ heart.

Keira and Ross opted for the Ballathie House Hotel for their Winter wedding as they thought it would unable them to have an  intimate day where everyone will feel welcome and at home. Keira & Ross wanted to focus on spending time with family and friends, ‘young and old’ and wanted their wedding to be as simple as possible and as relaxed as possible.

Winter weddings are always beautiful and this one was an absolute joy for me to photograph. We were lucky to have a little bit of snow too ( perfect for the romantic couple photos!) and magical Golden hour light just before sunset.  And of course- a warm, inviting, cozy countryhouse  vibe on a cold wintery day. What’s not to like?!
