I am Eve Spalding, a Scotland based wedding photographer who LOVES creating beautiful, timeless in style wedding stories. I enjoy working with couples who have chosen to celebrate their love in the Scottish countryside, away from the hustle and bustle, and are planning to have a relaxed, diy , country estate, barn or backyard marquee wedding. I create stories full of love and joy for people who are dreaming of seeing all of their dearest friends and family looking beautiful, drinking, eating great food and dancing under the same roof.
I studied the craft of photography at Bachelor of Arts level in Edinburgh and then Communications Design at Gray's School of Art . A very long story cut short - photographing humans in love turned out to be my thing. There is something truly special in playing part in such a lovely, happy event as a wedding, and seeing families come together to celebrate love and the beauty of bond and relationships.

I'd describe my photography style as sentimental and romantic, but also fun, sharp and colourful. I love photographing details.

I enjoy taking photos of happy folk and spontaneous moments as they happen. The stories I create for my couples are full of joy and laughter and to get these type of photos I make sure that I engage with people, share laughs, give hugs and have as much fun as every guest or family member enjoying the day.

My style is friendly, kind and unposed and I'll spend most of the day looking for precious moments and feelings that you want to remember, you know, the ones you didn't even know that you wanted to have a photo of until you've seen it.

There is a few documents to go over before we make things official. I have an online booking system to make the process easy.

The booking fee is paid
A 25% fee that comes off of the total balance of your chosen package is required on booking.

Eve is an absolutely fantastic photographer and we are so glad she was available to photograph our wedding day. She was professional, friendly, and easy to get in touch with in the lead up to the day. On the day itself, she made us and all our guests feel completely at ease whilst also ensuring we got all the group photos with minimal fuss and good humour. She took wonderful pictures of the two of us together (we don’t love getting couple photos but Eve was great at making sure we felt totally comfortable and relaxed), as well as candid shots of the little moments throughout the day that we hadn’t seen ourselves.
Eve’s style speaks for itself and we couldn’t have been happier with our choice. She sent over a preview gallery a couple of days after the wedding which we weren’t expecting at all, and it was really special looking through them so soon after. Having the right photographer at your wedding is one of the most important boxes to tick, as they are able to capture the 90% that you don't see. It can also be a little stressful making sure you book right one.
Eve took all that stress away.
Right from the start she filled us with confidence and put us at ease as we went through our crazy ideas. She always gave her honest opinion and if we had any questions, she would give an almost instant reply.
Shortly after the big day the photos come through...absolutely stunning and completely exceeded our already high expectations of Eve. We will treasure them for a lifetime.

Eve is a truly brilliant wedding photographer, it was just like having an extra guest there on the day despite having never met in person before!
Eve has a calming and professional presence, making everyone feel at ease throughout our special day. Communication before and after was great, ensuing every detail was covered.
Despite a very rainy day, Eve captured every moment perfectly and got us into our wellies and up the hills to get the most amazing pictures (and navigated a field full of sheep expertly).
The prints we got after our wedding were all of high quality and also purchased a beautiful photo book to treasure forever.
