style and way of work

I'd describe my photography style as sentimental and romantic, but also fun, sharp and colourful. I mostly use natural light for a soft and flattering look and my edits are with warmer tones.

I enjoy taking photos of happy folk and I'm always ready for unexpected moments. I love photographing meaningful, personal details that add depth to the wedding story.

The stories I create are full of joy and laughter. And to get these type of photos I make sure that I create a comfortable environment around me. Some of the most beautiful and sentimental photos happen naturally when people are relaxed and unaware of the camera. I look for emotional connections between the couple, family and friends and always encourage candid interactions. Even during the formal group photos!!

I make myself available to my couples for a chat at any time leading up to the wedding and afterwards through a WhatsApp chat, or a video call. Understanding my couples' vision and what is most important to them is always my priority. From the beginning of the booking process, I stay in touch and keep my couples in the loop.

how the day goes and what to expect

Every wedding is different and timelines vary wildly. I've put together a typical wedding timeline to give you a rough idea, but please note that this is just a guide.

11am Preps - the time I arrive
1:30pm Ceremony
2pm Confetti, Drinks, Photos
4:30pm Speeches
5pm Meal
8pm Cake cutting + Party time

CONFETTI WALK

This is a photo that I love doing as it gets the guests ito join in and it's great fun! It takes about 10-15 minutes to organise but it is definitely worth it. Colourful biodegradable confetti or plenty of dried flowers always work best in these type of shots.

COUPLE PORTRAITS

I don't like keeping my couples away from their guests for too long, so I keep this session short. I usually split this into two parts - we get away for 15 minutes before the speeches when things are a little quieter and for another short 5 minutes before the evening party starts. My couple portraits are super laid-back and romantic, always fun and from what I've been told - a really enjoyable and precious time for my couples.

FIRST DANCE + PARTY TIME

I'll stay with you till the party is in full swing and I have enough photos of happy people throwing shapes on the dance floor!
