Sarah & Chris at first bonded over Wimbledon.  After a 9 year long distance relationship during which Chris became and aerospace engineer and Sarah – a modern studies teacher, they had enough and moved to Melbourne, Australia. In Melbourne they finally  got to live together,  know each other even better, travel, make new friends, drink the best coffee and eat the most amazing food in town.  Because they had both worked in hospitality in various venues around Ayrshire when they were younger,  the thought of them getting married somewhere where they’ve worked in the past gave them the ‘heebie-jeebies’. So,  they picked Killearn Village Hall  after seeing the beautiful setting in the quaint village. And (of course!) they also loved the look of the beautiful photos other couples were getting there. Sarah & Chris are big foodies and  for their big day that they wanted a family style wedding vibe, where getting people to talk and socialise was a priority. The wine was Aussie and the beer from local independent brewers.

Myself and my my sidekick for the day Kristin ( aka Struve Photography) had such wonderful day capturing heartfelt moments for this beautiful couple. Here’s a wee snippet from their wedding to enjoy and if you’d like to find out more, scroll down for supplier shout outs.
