Sarah + Mauritz
Swedish – Scottish Garden Marquee Wedding, Kilry Scotland
[su_spacer size=”10″]
Sarah and Mauritz’s wedding was an original relaxed Swedish-Scottish wedding affair. The whole day was a bit unusual: with elements of 50s Vintage, rustic, a little bit of garden, lots of DIY and in the evening – a traditional Scottish Ceilidh and a surprise frog dance ( a Swedish midsummer dance with movements illustrating frogs and making funny noises!). Sarah & Mauritz, now Mr & Mrs Lind, had their wedding ceremony at the local church in Kilry, Angus, followed by a marquee garden reception at Sarah’s dads. [su_spacer size=”10″]
A few THINGS worth noticing here:
Sarah made pretty much all the decorations for the wedding. A DIY hero!
Her mum Joyce designed and crafted the wedding rings.
The wedding cake was made by a good family friend.
Sarah had one bridesmaid and two bridesmen.
Mauritz had two best men – one Swedish and one from Scotland ( well balanced and fair, right?).
With guests from all over the world – including Sweden, Russia, Morocco, Denmark, for Sarah and Mauritz having their friends celebrating with them all day long was all they wanted![su_spacer size=”10″]
The torrential rain, hailstones and wet feet never stopped them to make such a success of their wedding day.
For me to capture the warmth and fun vibe of a wedding day that goes by so quickly was, once again, an absolute pleasure!
